Meet the Artists

Lina Tellefsen she/her
3rd year, Studio Art and Cinema & Digital Media double major
"Hi I'm Lina, I'm a third year artist and I love doing digital art and painting. I'm a big fan of cooking and trying out new recipes, which is what really excited me about this project. I'm glad I had the opportunity to participate!"

Erica Oropeza she/they
5th year, Art Studio major

"I specialize in painting, drawing, and digital art. Within my art I express my emotions, experiences, and thoughts vicariously through landscapes. Whether in an abstract form or a fantasy amalgamation, a piece of myself can be found within my artworks."

Claire Rosefield she/they
4th year, Studio Art and Cinema Digital Media major
"I'm an avid collector of useless knowledge and a music lover. Music often inspires my art, and my favorite thing is when I get completely in the zone with creating and all of the sudden 5 hours have passed me by! Some of my favorite art styles are post-impressionism and art nouveau. My favorite medium is oil paint, but I also enjoy occasionally creating multimedia works and digital pieces."
Claire is a curator of the Appetite for Change exhibition.

Emerald Ramirez she/her
3rd year, Art Studio major
"Hello! My name is Emerald. I'm a bi Chicana artist from LA. I love depicting nature and scenic images, which stems from my love of road trips and going to National Parks with my family. I hope you enjoy my art!

Emerald is a curator of the Appetite for Change exhibition.

Vanessa Medina any pronouns
4th year, Art Studio major

"Hello, my name is Vanessa Medina. I am currently a 4th year Art Studio Major at Davis. I’m currently taking a break from classes but will continue back again next fall. I find myself mostly drawn to painting and photography, but I am getting more curious about other forms of art as well. Lately, I’ve been leaning more towards photography and would love to do more street photography in the future. I enjoy going to the farmers market and the street vendor market where people sell their art. That’s about it, thank you! : )"
